Red Beet Juice

I hate red beets! I just don’t like them. Yet they are so good for you. They are rich in fiber, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. A great source of iron, they help purify the blood. And they are low in calories. Moreover, thanks to their high betaine content, they protect us from bad cholesterol. In short, we should eat them often. So what to do? The solution is quickly found: I drink them! And I recommend you do the same by preparing this delicious red beet juice that also contains pineapple, carrots, and ginger. Delightful and velvety, I enjoyed it to the last drop. A glass full of health. Perfect, therefore, even for children who don’t want to eat fruit or vegetables. Well, make them drink it since they never say no to juices.

Ingredients for the Red Beet Juice

The amount of ginger can be varied, increased or decreased according to personal taste.

  • 1 3/4 cups pineapple (weight net of waste)
  • 1 fresh beet
  • 7 oz carrots
  • 1 oz fresh ginger

Tools

  • 1 Extractor

Preparation of Red Beet Juice

  • Here are the ingredients for this delicious juice:

  • Remove the pineapple peel, then cut the flesh into large chunks.

  • Remove the beet greens and cut off the fibrous part of the root. Wash it thoroughly under running water, scrubbing it with a brush to remove any dirt residues. Then dry it by patting with paper towels. It is not necessary to peel it since the skin (which is not edible) will be discarded by the extractor. Cut it into pieces.

  • Wash the carrots well, trim them, and cut into pieces.

Do the same with the ginger. It is not necessary to peel these ingredients either.

  • Now start inserting the ingredients into the extractor, alternating them. If using a centrifuge, operate it intermittently because fruit and vegetables would heat up, losing some of their nutritional properties. This is not necessary with the extractor, which instead works “at cold”. If you don’t have an extractor and want to buy one, you can find it online by clicking HERE.

As you proceed, the juice drips into one container and the waste falls into the other.

  • Finally, pour the red beet juice into a glass and drink it immediately to obtain the maximum benefits. It does not need to be sweetened. Enjoy! Paola
