Preparing Sea Bream Fillets with Lemon
Coat the sea bream fillets with flour on both sides. If you are using frozen sea bream fillets, I recommend moving them from the freezer to the refrigerator the night before.
In a large pan, heat a few tablespoons of olive oil and brown a peeled garlic clove, cut in half and remove the central core.
Then, add the sea bream fillets placing them in the pan skin side up, cover with the lid and cook for 6/7 minutes over medium-low heat.
In the meantime, juice the lemon and rinse the capers under running water, then pat them dry with kitchen paper.
Gently turn the sea bream fillets using a spatula, salt and pepper to taste, and drizzle with lemon juice. Add the capers, cover again, and continue cooking for another 5/6 minutes.
Once cooked, transfer the sea bream fillets with lemon and capers to the serving plate, drizzle with the cooking juices, and serve immediately, very hot. Enjoy! Paola.
