Slimming Juice

See that glass? It’s a slimming juice. Despite its unappealing color, I assure you it’s really good. Of course, the fact that it’s “slimming” doesn’t mean that drinking a glass of it will make you lose weight (if only it were that simple!), but it is definitely a good aid. Combined with a healthy and balanced diet and moderate physical activity, even this “big drink” will yield results. After all, when dieting, juices and smoothies become truly precious. The main ingredient is certainly asparagus, which has purifying and diuretic properties. They help eliminate fluid retention which, as we know, is one of the main causes of evil cellulite. Celery also promotes diuresis, while ginger speeds up metabolism. In short, a real concentrate of well-being.

Ingredients for the slimming juice

The amount of ginger is up to you, depending on your taste. Personally, I use a lot because I love it.

  • 6 asparagus
  • 1 apple
  • 2 stalks celery (with leaves)
  • 2 carrots (medium)
  • ginger (quantity as desired)
  • A few leaves mint (for decoration)

  • 1 Juicer

Preparation of the slimming juice

  • Here are the ingredients:

  • Wash all ingredients very well.

    Remove the tough part of the asparagus.

    Core the apple without peeling it.

  • It is not necessary to peel the carrots (but do trim them) or the ginger root.

    Cut everything into pieces.

  • Place the pieces into the juicer or extractor, including the celery leaves.

    If you’re using a JUICER, be careful not to keep it on for too long because fruit and vegetables would heat up, losing some of their nutritional principles. So, turn it on for a few seconds, then turn it off to turn it back on after a few moments. No problem with the EXTRACTOR which operates “cold”.

  • Pour the obtained juice into a glass, stir, and drink immediately.

    This slimming juice obviously SHOULD NOT be sweetened.

    The mint leaves are purely decorative and can be omitted. Enjoy! Paola
