We love crumbles. All kinds of crumbles, with any type of fruit. This mix of soft, juicy, and sweet cooked fruit with the crispy and buttery crumble layer is simply a delight for the palate. Perhaps apple crumble is the most classic variant, but it is said that the crumble recipe was invented in Britain, following the strict food rationing during World War II. Served with whipped cream or ice cream, it’s even more delicious.
