Ingredients

  • 5 oz dark chocolate
  • 3/4 cup fresh liquid cream
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone
  • to taste whipped cream
  • to taste dark chocolate (shaved)
  • to taste raspberries

Steps

  • To prepare the chocolate and mascarpone mousse, finely chop the dark chocolate and place it in a deep dish. 
    Heat 1/3 cup of cream until it starts to boil. Pour the cream over the chopped chocolate and stir until completely melted. Let cool.
    Briefly mix the mascarpone in a bowl to make it creamy, then add the chocolate mixture and mix gently and briefly, just enough to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

  • Whip the remaining cream and fold it into the mascarpone and chocolate mixture. Divide the chocolate and mascarpone mousse into cups or small glasses. Serve with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and raspberries.

Tip

The mousse can be consumed as soon as it is made. If you want to prepare it in advance, it is advisable to store it in the fridge without the whipped cream and decoration, and take it out of the fridge 20 minutes before consuming it, then add the whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and raspberries.
