Salmon fillets with herb sauce are cooked in a pan in just a few minutes, so they remain juicy. They have a delicate aroma, and the creamy herb sauce that accompanies them makes them truly delicious!
To prepare the sauce, I used the Bauer fish bouillon, a true ally in the kitchen for your fish dishes. In fact, the fish bouillon is made with dehydrated cod, shrimp, and crab, and the finest vegetables, to add a touch of extra flavor to your creations. It is also gluten and lactose-free, as well as free of hydrogenated fats and added monosodium glutamate. To prepare fish stock, dissolve it in boiling water. To enhance the flavor of your fish dishes, add it directly during cooking.

Ingredients
- 4 cloves garlic
- 4 fillets salmon (approximately 9 oz each)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 fish bouillon cube (Bauer – broths and seasonings)
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons chives
- 2 teaspoons thyme
- to taste pepper
- to taste basil leaves
- to taste lemon slices
Steps
To prepare salmon fillets with herb sauce, peel and finely chop the garlic and set aside.
Rinse the salmon fillets under water and pat them dry with paper towels.
Heat a pan with a base of extra virgin olive oil and brown the salmon fillets on the skin side for about 3 minutes. Then turn them over and brown for another 2 minutes.
Remove the salmon fillets from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and sauté the garlic for 30 seconds. Then add the white wine, water, Bauer fish bouillon, and mustard. Bring to a boil, stirring, until the bouillon has dissolved. At this point, pour in the cream, stir, and blend everything with an immersion blender to obtain a smooth sauce.
Put the salmon fillets back in the sauce, add the chopped chives and thyme, and mix. Finish cooking the salmon for about 5 minutes, basting the fillets a few times with the herb sauce and peppering.
Serve your salmon fillets with herb sauce, garnished with basil leaves and lemon slices. They are excellent accompanied by boiled parsley potatoes or baked potatoes.
