These Swedish chocolate cookies are probably the fastest chocolate cookies to prepare. You just mix the ingredients, then immediately divide the dough into three pieces, form a log with each, then flatten them, sprinkle with plenty of sugar granules and into the oven for just over ten minutes. Once baked, simply slice them and enjoy immediately. Faster than that…

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter (soft)
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- to taste sugar granules
Steps
To prepare the Swedish chocolate cookies, preheat the oven to 375°F (static).
Mix the flour with the cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a bowl, work the soft butter with the sugar and honey until you get a creamy and homogeneous mixture. Add the flour and cocoa mix and work with the mixers until the dough takes shape. Then transfer it to the work surface and knead briefly to obtain a homogeneous dough.
Divide the dough into 3 pieces, form a log of about 14 inches in length with each and transfer them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, well spaced apart. Flatten the logs to a thickness of about 3/8 inch. Make sure to space them well apart, as they will spread a lot during baking.
Sprinkle each strip of dough with plenty of sugar granules, pressing lightly, and bake at 375°F for 12-14 minutes. Once baked, immediately cut into oblique strips about 3/4 inch wide. Then let your cookies cool or enjoy them warm. When they are cool, they will be nice and crunchy.
The Swedish chocolate cookies keep for 3-4 weeks in an airtight container.
