Air fryer roasted peppers are the perfect solution for those who love this vegetable but seek a practical and quick method. Peeling peppers has never been so simple: just cook them for 20 minutes in the air fryer, wrap them in food-grade plastic bags, and you’ll see they almost peel themselves. Just season them with oil, salt, and, if you like, garlic, for a truly delicious and digestible side dish.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Roasted Peppers
- 2 Peppers (Large)
Tools
2 large food bags.
Steps for Air Fryer Roasted Peppers
Start by thoroughly washing the peppers and drying them. Place the whole peppers directly on the air fryer basket; there’s no need to cut them or remove the stem and seeds.
Cook at 400°F for about 20 minutes, turning them a couple of times to change sides and ensure even cooking. When they are soft on all sides, they are done.Take the peppers while they’re still hot (using tongs) and place them in food bags (the kind typically used for freezer storage), making sure they are large enough to hold them, and seal the bag tightly.
After a maximum of 10 minutes, proceed with peeling. The peppers will still be warm but not as hot as when they were just roasted; thanks to the condensation created inside the bag, the skin will almost come off by itself. Once peeled, cut them into strips and season with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and garlic.
