Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 7/8 cup milk
  • 2 bananas (ripe)
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp baking powder

Steps

  • Start by mashing the ripe bananas well in a large bowl.
    Add the milk and oil and mix with a whisk.
    Incorporate the flour and baking powder, sifting them in, stirring first with the whisk and then gently with a spatula until the batter is smooth.
    Pour the mixture into a 9-10 inch pan.
    I decorated the surface with sliced almonds and chocolate shavings.
    Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes. Use a toothpick test to check doneness.
