In half an hour you will have a complete dish that is very nutritious. Beans have many properties, they are naturally cholesterol-free, rich in fiber and lecithin, a compound that helps emulsify fats. They also contain vitamins, especially groups A, B, C and E, and minerals, including iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, and zinc.

You can use either pre-cooked beans or dried ones. I’m often in a hurry, so I used pre-cooked beans.
- 7 oz white beans (cannellini)
- 1 1/4 cups tomato passata
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
Steps
Let’s start preparing the beans with tomato
In a pan, pour some extra virgin olive oil and sauté the garlic. Rinse the beans under running water and pour them into the pan. After a few minutes, add the tomato passata, salt, and mix well.
Cook with the lid on for about 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove the lid, stir, and cook for another 5 minutes.
The beans with tomato are ready to be enjoyed.
