Cabbage Rolls

These cabbage rolls are very easy to make, super tasty, and nice to look at. They can be prepared in advance and stored in the fridge to have lunch or dinner ready ahead of time. You can unleash your creativity with the filling

Ingredients

  • 5 Cabbage leaves
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • 2 Pork sausage
  • 7 oz Mozzarella

Steps

  • In a pot of boiling salted water, blanch the cabbage leaves for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, place the cabbage leaves on a clean towel

  • Now let’s deal with the sausage, remove the casing, and crumble the sausage into a pan with a drizzle of oil

    Fry it quickly

  • Remove the sausage from the pan and set it aside

    In the same pan, place a clove of garlic and after a few seconds pour in the tomato puree, add a pinch of salt, and let it cook

    Meanwhile, let’s prepare our rolls; take the cabbage leaves and cut them from the center to obtain two pieces from one leaf

  • Place the sausage and mozzarella cubes on top of the cabbage and roll

  • Once all the rolls are created, place them inside the pan with the tomato puree

  • Take some tomato puree with a spoon and sprinkle it over the rolls

    Add the leftover mozzarella cubes

  • Cook for 15 minutes

  • The stuffed cabbage rolls are ready to be enjoyed
