Chestnut Shortcrust Pastry

The chestnut shortcrust pastry is the autumnal and delicious version of the classic shortcrust pastry. Its sweet and delicate taste makes it a truly special dough.
This pastry works very well, thanks to the texture given by the chestnut flour. It is perfect for both cookies with a defined shape and for creating tarts with autumnal fillings like berry jams or chocolate.
Adding chestnut flour not only gives a unique flavor but also provides a rustic and enveloping note, ideal for desserts to enjoy with a hot beverage. It’s an original way to impress your guests.
Come with me, let’s start baking right away.
Happy cooking, Giusi.
