Christmas Cake: Easy, Quick, and Egg-Free.
This cake is very simple and prepared in no time.
To make this dessert, I used the dough from my Water and Cocoa Cake, a soft and moist dough, a very simple recipe that does not contain eggs and is prepared in 5 minutes.
Once baked, just let it cool and cover it with a great cream. I chose a spreadable cocoa and salted caramel cream and, in honor of Christmas, I decorated the surface with white chocolate creating a delicious tree.

Ingredients for the Christmas Cake
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 cup water
- 3.5 tbsp vegetable oil
- 7 oz spreadable cream
- 3/4 oz white chocolate

I used a smart mold with a 10-inch diameter.
If you don’t have it, you can easily use a regular mold, level the surface with a knife, and then cover the cake with the cream.

Steps for the Christmas Cake
In a bowl, sift the flour, unsweetened cocoa, and baking powder, and mix.
In another bowl, dissolve the sugar in water and add the oil.
Start pouring the liquids gradually into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix well all the ingredients until obtaining a smooth mixture.Pour the obtained mixture into a 10/11-inch diameter mold, previously greased and floured, or lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 350°F in a preheated static oven for about 25 minutes.
Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
Cover the surface with the cocoa and salted caramel cream (or a cream of your choice).
For the white chocolate decoration:
Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave.
Transfer it into a food bag (or a piping bag).
Cut the tip of the bag and decorate the surface, creating the shape of a tree or any design you prefer.
