Cocoa cookies are simple and delicious shortbread cookies perfect to enjoy for breakfast or any time of the day. In their simplicity, they are always highly appreciated. Made with a short crust without butter. The strong flavor of cocoa makes these cookies delightful; once tried, you won’t be able to resist them. Quick and tasty. The preparation of these treats is so easy that we can also involve children, as I did with my nephew.

- Preparation time: 5 Minutes
- Cooking time: 15 Minutes
- Portions: 30 small cookies

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- hazelnuts (For decoration)
Steps
Using a fork, beat the eggs with the sugar, add the oil and mix. Add cocoa and baking powder, then gradually add the flour. The dough should be soft, not sticky, and compact; add more flour if necessary.
Take small pieces of dough and form balls, place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, and put a hazelnut in the center, pressing lightly. Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for 12-15 minutes. Cocoa cookies are ready to be enjoyed.
