I see you… Don’t turn up your nose at the word condensed milk! I used to do it too, but I realized that sometimes it’s a good substitute for sugar and desserts take on a whole different texture.
This breakfast cake has a compact texture and at the same time incredibly soft, making it the perfect companion for dipping into your morning milk or tea… we loved it. Easy and quick, it’s a true simplicity that wins you over at the first bite. Come with me as we start baking right away.

Ingredients for the Condensed Milk Breakfast Cake
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup Condensed Milk
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup almonds (Optional)

Steps for the Condensed Milk Breakfast Cake
Preheat the static oven to 350°F. Line a 9.5-inch diameter mold with parchment paper.
In a bowl, pour the milk, the oil, and the condensed milk. Mix.
Add the eggs and the sugar, mixing well with a hand whisk.
Finally, add the flour with the baking powder previously sifted. Mix with the whisk until the batter is smooth.
Once the batter is ready, pour it into the mold.
Place the almonds on the surface.
Bake at 340°F for 40 minutes.
After 35 minutes, do the toothpick test: if it comes out dry, the cake is ready, otherwise extend the cooking time. If the surface darkens too much after 25 minutes or earlier, cover with parchment paper and finish baking.
Once baked, let it cool completely in the mold.

Storage
Once the cake is completely cool, store it under a glass dome or in an airtight container for 3-4 days. It will keep its softness intact and will be perfect for everyday breakfast.
