- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tbsps vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2/3 cup candied orange
- 1/2 cup walnut halves
Steps for the Cookies with Walnuts and Candied Orange
In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and baking powder. Mix the ingredients well until you obtain a smooth and uniform dough.
At this point, incorporate the coarsely chopped walnuts and the candied orange. Work the dough briefly to form a homogeneous loaf in which the walnuts and orange are well distributed.
Take small pieces of dough (about 1 oz), form balls, and press them lightly with the palm of your hand.
Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about 18 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
