Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup milk (Warm)
- 3 1/2 tbsp Oil
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- as needed dark chocolate
Steps
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder. Separately, lightly beat the egg with the milk, then add this mixture and the oil to the dry ingredients.
Work all the ingredients until you get a homogeneous and soft dough. If the dough turns out to be too dry, add another teaspoon of milk to make it workable.
Create a loaf with the dough and flatten it; if you want to make two smaller stick cookies, divide the dough in half. With the help of a knife, cut the loaf into sticks.
Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving them well spaced apart.
Bake in a static preheated oven at 356°F for about 15 minutes. Let the cookies cool completely.
Once the cookies are completely cold, melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave. Dip the cold cookies into the melted chocolate.
Leave them plain, or complete the decoration with sprinkles, sugar crystals, or chopped nuts. Let them rest on parchment paper until the chocolate has solidified and your delicious cookies are ready.
