It is prepared quickly: a base of crispy puff pastry, thinly sliced potatoes, cooked ham, and, the icing on the cake, that creamy touch of gorgonzola that ties everything together perfectly. It’s an explosion of flavor.

It’s perfect to be cut into small squares and served as an appetizer during an aperitif or a dinner with friends. But don’t underestimate it: accompanied by a simple salad, it becomes a tasty dinner and complete that satisfies everyone, even the most demanding palates! Preparing it is a piece of cake. Ingredients for the Easy Savory Pie

  • 1 roll puff pastry
  • 3.5 oz cooked ham
  • 4.2 oz Gorgonzola
  • 2 potatoes

Steps for the Easy Savory Pie

  • Unroll the puff pastry.
    Soften the gorgonzola using a fork to make it as creamy as possible, then spread and level it on the puff pastry base.
    Lay the cooked ham on top of the gorgonzola.
    Cut the raw potatoes into very thin slices and distribute them on top of the ham.
    Fold the edges of the pastry inwards.
    Place the savory pie (with its parchment paper) on a baking tray.

    Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for 35 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the base is cooked.

  • Once cooked, let it cool completely and only then cut into small squares.
    Perfect to enjoy warm or cold, ideal for an appetizer, a buffet, a picnic, or a last-minute tasty dinner. The creaminess of the gorgonzola, the flavor of the ham, and the softness of the potatoes make it irresistible!
