Glazed Chocolate Cookies

Glazed chocolate cookies are very easy treats to make. They are very crumbly, and the cocoa incorporated into the dough makes these cookies very tasty. Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3 1/2 tbsps butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 salt (A pinch)
  • 3 tbsps granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsps unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsps water
  • 2 tbsps unsweetened cocoa powder

Steps

  • In a bowl, mix the flour and butter

    Add the egg, milk, sugar, cocoa, salt, baking powder, and mix all the ingredients

    Knead until a homogeneous dough is formed

  • I took a small piece of dough and created ropes that I twisted

    But you can easily create balls or any shapes you prefer

    Lay the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

    Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes

  • In the meantime, prepare the glaze by pouring the powdered sugar and cocoa into a small bowl

    Add the water very slowly; it doesn’t take much to make it liquid. I used 2 tablespoons of water to keep the glaze slightly thick.

    Once the cookies are out of the oven, dip them into the glaze using a spoon

    After a few minutes, it solidifies.

  • The cookies are ready to be enjoyed, fragrant and delicious.
