Meatballs and Potatoes in Sauce

I don’t think this dish needs much introduction. The meatballs in sauce are a traditional meat dish that everyone loves, young and old. A mouth-watering dish. Few ingredients for a rich and very tasty dish. Come with me, let’s start cooking.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground veal
  • 1 egg
  • 3.5 tbsp milk
  • 1.4 oz grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3.5 oz breadcrumbs
  • to taste Parsley
  • to taste salt
  • 26.5 oz tomato sauce

Steps

  • In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together. Create the meatballs and set aside.

    In a pan or pot with high edges, pour in some extra virgin olive oil, the carrots, celery, and onion cut into very small pieces and let them fry adequately.

    Brown the meatballs on all sides, deglaze with half a glass of water, and then add the tomato sauce, salt, and also the potatoes, if you like (I added three large ones).

    Stir and cook covered for about 30 minutes.
