Ingredients

For the base of this delicious no-bake cake, I used leftover Easter cake, a tasty way to avoid waste! You can opt for sponge cake or crumbled cookies (in this case, there’s no need to soak them). The versatility of this dessert allows you to use whatever you have on hand to create a delicious base.

  • 2 cups fresh liquid cream (Found in the refrigerated section)
  • 1 1/4 cups Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/4 lbs strawberries
  • as needed sponge cake (or other)

Tools

  • Bowl
  • Mixer

Steps

  • Whip the cream with the mixer. When it starts to become firm, add the powdered sugar and continue whipping.
Add the yogurt and gently mix with a spatula.
Wash and cut the strawberries into pieces, then add them to the cream.

    Assembly

In a baking dish, create a layer of cookies or sponge cake.
Cover with a layer of cream, then add another layer of base (cookies or sponge cake) and finish with the cream.
Decorate the surface with more fresh strawberries.
Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours, or overnight.

  • Serve the no-bake cake in squares.

  • I hope this no-bake yogurt and strawberry cake captivates you with its simplicity and summer flavor. It’s perfect for ending a great day or for indulging in a moment of sweetness without turning on the oven.
Don’t forget to let me know in the comments how you prepared it and if you used any special base or decoration. I’m always curious to see your creations.
A fresh and affectionate hug. Until next time.
