Ingredients for Cocoa Cookies
- 1 3/4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cups powdered sugar (or granulated)
- 1/4 cups milk (warm)
- 1/4 cups vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp baking powder
Steps for Preparing Simple Cocoa Cookies
In a large bowl, start by carefully mixing all the dry ingredients: the flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder.
Beat the egg with the milk and then pour it together with the oil into the bowl with the dry ingredients.
Knead the dough with your hands until forming a homogeneous and soft dough ball.
If you notice that the dough is too dry, gradually add another teaspoon of milk, if it remains too wet add more flour.
Once the dough ball is created, transfer it to a lightly floured surface. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to the desired thickness. With the cookie cutters (or a simple knife), cut out the cookies and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for about 10 minutes. Let them cool completely before enjoying.
I hope you enjoyed this easy recipe as much as I do! Let me know in the comments if you tried these cookies and how they turned out. I’m looking forward to the next recipe.
