Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp chocolate chips
Steps
In a large bowl, mix the flour, powdered sugar, and baking powder well.
Now, pour in the oil, warm milk, and egg. Start combining all the ingredients with a spoon or spatula until the dough starts to come together.
When the dough is almost formed, add the chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons of flour. Continue working the mixture until you obtain a soft and homogeneous dough. If it turns out too sticky, add another tablespoon of flour at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
Take the dough and place it directly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. With your hands, shape the dough into a loaf about 10 inches long and 6 inches wide. It doesn’t need to be perfect, the important thing is that it is uniform.
Bake the loaf in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about 25 minutes. Once cooked, let it cool almost completely on the baking sheet (so it won’t break). When it’s still warm, use a sharp knife or a dough cutter to cut the cookies to your preferred size.
