Ingredients for Lemon Donuts

If you don’t have a donut mold you can safely use the muffin one (the small ones). With these measurements, you get about 12 donuts.

I used half spelt flour and half rice flour, but you can easily use all-purpose flour if you prefer.

  • 1 cup flour (I used half spelt flour and half rice flour)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • 3 tbsps lemon juice

Steps for Lemon Donuts

  • Take a bowl and pour in the flour, sugar, and baking powder,

    add the vegetable oil, water a little at a time, alternating with the lemon juice, until all the liquids are used up.

    Mix with a hand whisk for a few minutes.

    Bake at 340 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes, always do the toothpick test

  • Once this time has passed, let cool, remove from molds, and dust with powdered sugar.

Storage
