Strawberry Cake

Today I share with you this strawberry cake recipe. A recipe I am particularly fond of. It can be prepared in a few minutes, just mix all the ingredients with a hand whisk and you’re done. Quick, fragrant, and delicious. This strawberry cake tastes like home, genuineness, and simplicity. Grab a hand whisk and a bowl and let’s start creating.

Ingredients

I used a 8 x 8 inch square pan but a 8-9 inch round pan will work just fine

  • 2 1/2 all-purpose flour (I use spelt flour)
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lb strawberries

Steps

  • In a bowl, pour the baking powder, sugar, and mix. Add the eggs, milk, oil, and mix all the ingredients with a hand whisk and spatula. Cut the strawberries into small pieces and mix with a spoonful of whole cane sugar. Add the strawberries to the mixture and incorporate

  • Pour the mixture into a greased and floured pan or lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350°F in a preheated static oven for about 35 minutes

  • Let the cake cool completely in the pan. The fragrant strawberry cake is ready.
