Super Soft Cake with Strawberries and Blueberries

The cake with strawberries and blueberries is a real cloud of goodness. Ideal at any time of the day, but I assure you that dipped in milk is out of this world. I decided to use strawberries and blueberries for the top, but you are free to use whatever fruit you prefer. The batter is prepared in 5 minutes and bakes in 25 minutes. Ingredients

I used type 1 flour; you can use whichever flour you prefer.

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3.5 oz blueberries
  • 4.25 oz strawberries

Tools

Square pan 8×8 inches or a round pan of 9 inches in diameter.

Steps

  • In a bowl, pour and mix with a hand whisk, in the following order, the flour, sugar, milk, oil, egg, and baking powder.

    Once the mixture is ready, pour it into a pan lined with parchment paper of 8 inches x 8 inches or in a round pan of 8-9 inches in diameter.

  • Place the fruit on top of the cake and bake in a preheated static oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25-30 minutes. After 25 minutes, do the toothpick test; if it comes out dry, the cake is ready.
