Walnut Cookies

Nothing could be easier and simpler, walnut cookies are not only very tasty but also very easy to prepare. You only need three ingredients and you’re done. One egg white, sugar, and of course walnuts, in less than 15 minutes you’ll have treats to enjoy at any time of the day.

Curiosity: The ideal consumption is about 3 walnuts a day, to provide benefits to the cardiovascular system, lower cholesterol, and regulate blood pressure.

Ingredients

  • 7 oz walnuts (To chop)
  • 1 egg white
  • 2.1 oz granulated sugar

Steps

  • First, roughly chop the walnuts in a mixer, in a bowl, beat the egg white with a hand whisk for a few minutes and add the sugar, work the mixture until combined.

    Add the chopped walnuts and mix well, the mixture will be very moist.

    Start forming the balls, to prevent the mixture from sticking, moisten your hands from time to time. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roll some of the balls in powdered sugar.

  • Bake at 350°F in a preheated static oven for 12 minutes, no more. Let the walnut cookies cool completely and then enjoy with great satisfaction. The cookies will be very soft once out of the oven, that’s normal, after a few minutes they will firm up.

Storage

The cookies can be stored for several days inside a container or cookie jar.
