Water and Apple Cake

Ingredients

I used 100 g of whole wheat flour and 100 g of all-purpose flour. Feel free to use all-purpose flour if you prefer.

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder (Half a packet)
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  • salt (A pinch)
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 apples

Steps

  • Pour the flour, sugar, and baking powder into a bowl and mix, with a fork or by hand whisk

    Start adding the eggs, oil, and milk slowly

  • Once these ingredients are blended, add the pinch of salt and pour in the lukewarm water slowly

    The mixture will be liquid, peel and cut the apples into small pieces and add them to the mixture.

  • Pour the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper, 9 – 10 inches in diameter

  • Bake at 350°F in a preheated oven for 35 minutes

    After about 30 minutes, I always recommend doing the toothpick test; if it comes out dry, the cake is done.
