Steps for the Water Apple Cake
First, slice the apples thinly and mix with the lemon juice and zest in a bowl, set aside.
In a large bowl, start mixing the flour, baking powder, and sugar for even distribution of dry ingredients.
Then add the water, oil, and milk, and finally add the eggs that you have previously beaten. Continue to work the mixture until you perfectly combine all the ingredients.
Finally, add the thinly sliced apples and lemon juice to the batter. Mix well to distribute the fruit evenly.
Pour the obtained mixture into a cake pan, which you can choose to line with parchment paper or grease and flour carefully.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Storage
To keep your water and apple cake as soft as just baked, you can store it under a glass dome or in an airtight container. This way it will perfectly keep at room temperature for 2-3 days.
If the environment is very warm, I recommend placing it in the fridge, making sure to let it rest outside for a few minutes before eating it, so that it regains all its softness. If you prefer, you can also slightly warm each slice for a few seconds.
