The apple and chocolate bundt cake is also perfect to serve as a dessert after a meal. Moreover, it is great to accompany coffee mid-morning or a cup of tea in the afternoon.

If you want to add a crunchy note to the bundt cake, you can also add some nuts: walnuts, almonds, or hazelnuts. Just chop them into pieces and add them to the batter.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seed oil
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 apple (in pieces)
  • 1/3 cup chocolate (chopped)
  • 1 apple (thinly sliced)
  • as needed granulated sugar (for decoration)
  • as needed chocolate (chopped for decoration)

  • 1 Mixer
  • 1 Bundt pan

How to prepare the apple and chocolate bundt cake

  • In a bowl, place the eggs and sugar. Mix with the electric mixer until you get a fluffy and frothy mixture.

  • Add the milk and mix with the electric mixer.

  • Also add and incorporate the sunflower seed oil.

  • Add the flour and baking powder. Mix with the electric mixer, being careful not to create lumps.

  • Add a chopped apple and chopped chocolate. Gently mix with a spatula.

  • Pour the obtained mixture into a previously greased and floured bundt pan. My pan does not need greasing or flouring. If you want to take a look, click here.

  • On the surface, add thin apple slices, granulated sugar, and more chocolate chips if desired.

  • Bake in a preheated oven, static at 356°F (180°C), and let it bake for about 40 minutes. Please check the cooking times based on your oven by doing the toothpick test.

  • Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and then serve.
