The banana cake is a soft and delicious cake, perfect for breakfast and snack.
It is a cake suitable for the whole family. For preparation, I recommend using a ripe banana, because it is sweeter and more fragrant. Thus, this cake is perfect if you need to use up overripe bananas.
If you don’t like Nutella, you can also skip it. You can also enrich the cake by adding some chopped nuts to the banana pulp, such as walnuts.

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 banana (ripe)
- 2 tbsps milk
- 4 tbsps sunflower oil
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Half packet baking powder
- to taste Nutella®

How to prepare the banana and Nutella cake
Place a ripe banana in a bowl and mash it with a spoon.
Add the egg and mix with the spoon.
Add the sugar and mix.
Now add the liquids: milk and oil. Mix with the spoon.
Finally, add the flour and baking powder. Mix everything well with the spoon being careful not to create lumps.
Pour the obtained mixture into an 8-inch pan that has been greased and floured.
On the surface of the cake, add dollops of Nutella using two teaspoons. Then swirl to create a marbled effect.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F and let it bake for about 35 minutes. Make sure to check the baking time based on your oven.
Remove from oven, let it cool slightly, and if you like, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
