How to prepare cocoa treats with hazelnut heart
In a bowl, place the eggs and sugar. Mix with a hand whisk.
Add the flour, baking powder, and cocoa. Mix with the hand whisk.
Add and incorporate the oil. You should obtain a smooth and creamy batter.
Pour a teaspoon of batter into a mold. I used a sphere mold with 9 cavities, but you can use any mold you prefer. Muffin molds will also work. Then add a teaspoon of hazelnut cream and finally cover with another teaspoon of batter.
Cook in the air fryer at 329°F (165°C) for 15 minutes. Before serving, if desired, dust with powdered sugar.
Storage and Notes.
The number of treats obtained depends on the size of the mold used: with small molds, you will get many mini treats, while with larger molds, you will get fewer but softer and tastier ones. Cooking times also slightly vary depending on the air fryer model, so I recommend checking the browning after the first few minutes and adjusting accordingly.
Cocoa treats with hazelnut heart can be stored in an airtight container for 2-3 days at room temperature. They can also be frozen after cooking.
