Ingredients
- 3.5 tbsp butter
- 0.6 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 0.3 cup chocolate chips

How to Prepare Crunchy Cookies with Chocolate Chips
In a bowl, add the butter in pieces and the sugar. Start mixing until you obtain a smooth mixture.
Add the egg and mix with the spoon.
Add the flour and baking powder. Knead with your hands. When the dough begins to come together, add and incorporate the chocolate chips. Work the mixture until you obtain a smooth and compact dough that doesn’t stick to your fingers.
Divide the dough into two equal parts and form two logs.
Cut the log into 5/6 pieces. Work each piece with your hands to form balls.
Place the balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Flatten the balls with the palm of your hand.
Brush the surface of the cookies with milk and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F and cook for about 20 minutes or until the cookies are crunchy and golden.
Remove from the oven and serve.
