Double Chocolate Yogurt Cake. A simple and quick yogurt cake to make. Perfect for breakfast and snack time.

The double chocolate yogurt cake is very easy to make. It’s a soft and delicious cake thanks to the presence of cocoa and chocolate chips.

To measure the ingredients, I didn’t use a scale but a 125 g yogurt container.

As I was saying, the preparation is very simple and doesn’t require special skills or abilities in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 container yogurt
  • 1 container sugar
  • 3 containers all-purpose flour
  • 1 container sunflower seed oil
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2.5 oz chocolate chips

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Mixer
  • 2 Spoons
  • 1 Pan

How to Prepare the Double Chocolate Yogurt Cake

  • In a bowl, place the eggs and yogurt. Mix with the electric mixer.

  • Add the sugar and mix.

  • Add and incorporate the oil, too.

  • Add the flour and mix everything well.

  • Finally, add the chocolate chips, the baking powder, and if desired, a few drops of lemon flavoring. Mix always with the electric mixer.

  • Pour a little more than half of the mixture into a previously buttered and floured 8-inch pan.

  • To the remaining batter, add the cocoa and milk. Mix with the electric mixer to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

  • Using two spoons, place the cocoa mixture in the pan, distributing it in spoonfuls.

  • Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F and cook for about 35 minutes. Please check cooking times based on your oven.

  • Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly and if desired, dust with powdered sugar.

  • You may serve.
