How to Prepare Focaccia with Extra Virgin Olive Oil
In a bowl, add flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Mix with a spoon.
Add milk, water, and oil. Start mixing with a spoon, then when you can’t do it anymore, continue kneading by hand until you get a homogeneous dough.
Place the dough in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise for about two hours.
After the rising time, take the dough and place it on a lightly oiled 11-inch baking tray. If you want to see my tray, click here.
Stretch the dough with your hands until it covers the entire mold.
Let it rise again for another 30 minutes.
Before baking, if you like, add a drizzle of oil, coarse salt, oregano, or rosemary.
Bake in a hot, static oven at 400°F and let it cook for about 20 minutes. Please check the cooking times according to your oven.
Take out of the oven and serve.
