Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free Apple and Yogurt Cake. A simple and quick cake to prepare, perfect for breakfast and snacks.

The apple and yogurt cake is an autumn-flavored cake, simple and quick to prepare. For the preparation, I used a gluten-free flour mix (I will show you which one below), and lactose-free yogurt. Of course, if you are not intolerant, you can modify the ingredients.

The preparation is super quick, you just need to mix all the ingredients in a bowl. In a couple of minutes, the batter is ready.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1/4 cup sunflower oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 6 tbsp lactose-free yogurt
  • 1 3/4 cups flour (gluten-free)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 apple

  • 1 Bowl

  • 1 Pan

How to Prepare the Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free Apple and Yogurt Cake

  • In a bowl, add the egg, sugar, oil, milk, yogurt, flour, and baking powder. Mix with an electric mixer, being careful not to create lumps.

  • If the batter is too stiff, add 3/4 tablespoons of water. The amount of water can vary depending on the type of flour used. I used this flour.

  • Add a diced apple.

  • Pour the obtained mixture into an 18 cm pan previously greased and floured. Decorate with thin apple slices and bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F (180°C) and let it cook for about 40 minutes. Make sure to check the cooking times based on your oven.

  • Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and if desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

  • Enjoy!
