How to Prepare No-Yeast Air Fryer Calzones

  • In a bowl, add flour, salt, and instant yeast. Mix with a spoon.

  • Add water and milk. Start mixing with the spoon, then continue kneading by hand until you obtain a compact and homogeneous dough.

  • At this point, form a loaf and cut it into 6 more or less equal parts with a knife.

  • Take a portion of dough, spread it out with your hands, then roll it with a rolling pin. You should get a circle about 1/8 inch thick.

  • In the center of each circle, place a couple of teaspoons of tomato sauce and a piece of mozzarella. (I used sliced cheese.)

  • Close the circle into a half-moon shape and seal the edges well with the tines of a fork. Proceed in the same way with the remaining dough.

  • Place a sheet of parchment paper in the air fryer basket and arrange the calzones inside it. Brush the surface of the calzones with a little tomato sauce and cook at 320°F for 10 minutes. Please check the cooking times according to your air fryer.

  • Serve them pure: hot and gooey.

Storage

You can store the calzones in the refrigerator in an airtight container for one day. Reheat them for 2 minutes in the air fryer before serving.
