Pizza swirls are very simple to prepare. They are perfect for an appetizer, a savory snack, or as an appetizer.
To fill the pizza swirls, I used tomato sauce, olives, and Parmesan cheese, but you can fill them with the ingredients of your choice. You can add deli meats, cheeses, and spices as you like.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 5 1/2 tbsp water
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- 1 tsp instant yeast for savory preparations
- 10 pieces black olives
- 4 tbsp tomato sauce (thickened)
- to taste grated Parmesan cheese

How to prepare pizza swirls
In a bowl, place the flour and yeast. Mix with a spoon.
Add the oil and water. Start mixing with a fork.
Finally, add the salt and knead with your hands until you get a soft and homogeneous dough.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a lightly floured surface. You should obtain a rectangle.
Spread the thickened tomato sauce, pitted black olives, and Parmesan cheese.
Roll the rectangle tightly starting from the longer side. Cut the swirls with a sharp knife and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F and bake for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Be sure to check the cooking times based on your oven.
Remove from the oven and serve.
