How to Prepare the Cocoa Crumble with Strawberries
First, prepare the filling. In a bowl, add the dark chocolate (shaved or chips), sugar, ricotta, and cream cheese. (I used Philadelphia). Mix with a spoon. Add the chopped strawberries. Mix and set aside.
For the crumble, add the eggs and sugar to a bowl. Mix with the spoon.
Add the oil and continue mixing with the spoon.
Add the flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Start mixing with the spoon, then continue kneading by hand until you get coarse crumbs. (If necessary, add more flour).
Add slightly more than half of the crumbs to a 10-inch pie pan previously buttered and floured. Press lightly with your hands and create a small edge.
Spread two tablespoons of Nutella on the base and level with a knife.
Take back the filling, add an egg, and mix with the spoon.
Pour the filling into the pan and level with a spoon. Cover with the remaining crumbs and bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F. Let it bake for about 40 minutes. Make sure to check the cooking times based on your oven.
Remove from the oven and let it cool. Before serving, you can also decorate the crumble with whipped cream, fresh berries, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
Storage
The crumble can be stored at room temperature for 2 days, or in the refrigerator for 4 days. You can also freeze it, whole or in slices, and thaw it at room temperature before serving.
