How to Prepare Quick Light Donuts
In a bowl, add the sugar, flour, and baking powder. Mix with a spoon.
Add the yogurt, oil, and milk. (I added a few drops of orange flavoring.) Start mixing with the spoon, and then continue by hand when you can’t mix anymore. You should obtain a soft and homogeneous dough. (If necessary, add more flour, but be careful not to add too much, or the donuts will be hard.)
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a lightly floured surface.
Use a round cookie cutter to cut circles. Then, use a smaller cookie cutter to make a hole in the center to form donuts. If you want to check out my cookie cutters, click here. You can make the donuts the desired size.
Place the donuts on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated, static oven at 350°F for about 10-15 minutes. Please check the cooking times based on your oven.
Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and if you like, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Enjoy your treat.
