Ingredients

For the base

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 packet instant yeast for savory preparations
  • to taste salt
  • 1 roll puff pastry
  • 3.5 oz cooked ham
  • 3.5 oz emmental cheese
  • 3.5 oz tomato sauce

  • 1 Parchment Paper

How to Prepare Quick Puff Pastry Pizza

  • In a bowl, add the flour, yeast, salt (about one teaspoon), oil, and water. Start mixing with a spoon.

  • Continue kneading by hand until you get a soft but not sticky dough.

  • Roll out the dough in a 12.6 inch pizza pan previously lined with parchment paper. If you want to take a look at my mold, you can find it here.

  • Top with tomato sauce (well reduced), slices of cooked ham, and cheese.

  • Cover with a roll of puff pastry. Seal the edges well.

  • Prick the pastry with a fork and add a drizzle of oil.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F (180°C) and cook for about 30 minutes, or until the pizza is golden brown.

  • Serve and enjoy.
