How to Prepare Rustic Sweet Croissants with Nutella
In a bowl, add all the ingredients. Knead by hand until you get a soft, homogeneous, and non-sticky dough. (Among the ingredients, I wrote 2 cups of flour; if necessary, you can add more, but never exceed 2.4 cups, otherwise the croissants will be too hard).
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a lightly floured surface. You should obtain a wide circle.
Cut the circle with a knife. I divided it into 16 wedges because I prefer obtaining small croissants. But if you prefer, you can make them larger.
At the base of each wedge, put a teaspoon of Nutella or jam.
Roll the croissants on themselves, starting from the widest part and rolling towards the tip.
Place the obtained croissants on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a hot, static oven at 356°F and let them bake for about 20 minutes. Be sure to check the baking time based on your oven.
Once baked, let them cool slightly, and if you like, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Serve at your pleasure.
