The soft yogurt cookies are easy and quick to make, perfect for breakfast or snack, accompanied by tea, herbal teas, milk, cappuccino, or coffee. In short, they pair easily with any beverage.
They are soft and delicious cookies. For the preparation, I used plain Greek yogurt, but you can use any flavor you prefer, such as coconut or lemon.
They keep for several days and are also perfect as a gift.

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 2.1 oz sugar
- 5.3 oz plain Greek yogurt
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1.8 tbsp butter
- 1.6 tsp baking powder
- 2.8 oz chocolate chips

How to Prepare Simple Yogurt and Chocolate Chip Cookies
In a bowl, add the egg and sugar. Mix with the spoon.
Add the Greek yogurt and mix.
Add the flour, softened butter, and baking powder. Start mixing with the spoon.
When the mixture starts to come together, add the chocolate chips and knead by hand until you obtain a smooth, compact, and homogeneous dough.
Take small portions of dough (about 0.9 oz) and form balls using your hands.
Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F. Let them bake for about 15 minutes. Be sure to check the cooking times based on your oven.
Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and if you like, decorate with powdered sugar or hazelnut cream.
