Ingredients

For the base

  • 3 eggs
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1/2 cup sunflower oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 3 tablespoons Nutella®
  • 1 cup sweetened whipped cream
  • as needed milk (for soaking)
  • as needed chocolate (for decorating)

  • 1 Piping bag

How to Prepare the Soft Tart Filled with Nutella and Mascarpone

  • Inside a bowl, add the eggs and sugar. Mix with the electric mixer until you obtain a fluffy and foamy mixture.

  • Add the oil and milk. Mix with the electric mixer.

  • Add the flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Mix everything well with the electric mixer, taking care not to create lumps.

  • Pour the obtained mixture inside a smart tart mold. If you want to take a look at the mold, click here.

  • Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F (180°C) and let cook for about 25/30 minutes. Please check the cooking times based on your oven.

  • In the meantime, prepare the filling. Whip the cream until very stiff. Add the mascarpone and mix with the electric mixer. Add the Nutella and mix with the electric mixer.

  • When the tart base is cooked, remove it from the oven, let it cool upside down and then soak it with milk or a soaking liquid of your choice.

  • Place the cream inside a piping bag and decorate the cake. 

  • On the surface, if you like, add the chopped chocolate. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
