The walnut and chocolate chip cookies are very simple to prepare. They are perfect for breakfast, snacks, or any time of the day. I really enjoy them with coffee after a meal.
For the preparation, I used walnuts, but you can use the nuts of your choice.
The corn flour and maple syrup will give the cookies a unique taste and texture.

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 2 oz maple syrup
- 1.75 oz corn flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1.75 oz walnuts
- 1.75 oz chocolate chips

- 1 Parchment paper
- 1 Baking tray
- 1 Knife
How to Prepare Walnut and Chocolate Chip Cookies
In a bowl, add the egg, maple syrup, the two types of flour, and the baking powder. Start mixing with a spoon.
Add the walnuts and chocolate chips. Knead by hand until you get a homogeneous dough.
Roll the dough into a rectangle with your hands. Lightly flatten it with your hands and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F and let cook for about 20/25 minutes. Please check cooking times based on your oven.
Remove from the oven and cut the cookies. Bake again for another 10/15 minutes. The cookies should be golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and if desired, dust with powdered sugar.
