Yogurt Brioche Spirals. Delicious brioche that is simple and quick to prepare. Perfect for breakfast and snack time.
Yogurt brioche spirals are very easy to make. They are super quick since there are no rising times to follow.
As I mentioned, they are perfect for breakfast served with a nice hot cappuccino. The ingredients needed to make them are few and usually found at home.
I used lemon-flavored yogurt, but you can use whatever flavor you prefer.

How to make yogurt brioche spirals
In a bowl, combine the egg and sugar. Mix with a fork.
Add the yogurt and mix with the fork.
Add and incorporate the oil.
Add flour and baking powder. Start mixing with the fork, then when you can no longer do so, continue kneading by hand until obtaining a compact and homogeneous dough.
Roll out the dough on a sheet of lightly floured parchment paper. Use a rolling pin to roll it out. You should get a rectangle.
Brush the rectangle with milk using a kitchen brush.
On one-third of the rectangle, add chocolate chips. Press them down with your hands to make them adhere well, and if desired, sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Fold it over (one edge should stick out).
Brush again with milk, and add more chocolate chips and sugar. (Do not put the chips on the outer edge).
Fold the outer edge over the part with chocolate chips.
Use the rolling pin to slightly flatten the rectangle.
Cut the rectangle into strips. Use a knife. I got 8 strips.
Twist each strip onto itself to create a sort of spiral.
Place the prepared brioche on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. If desired, brush with milk and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake in a preheated, static oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Let it cook for about 20 minutes. Please check the cooking times based on your oven.
Remove from the oven and serve.
