The yogurt cake with chocolate chips is a soft and delicious dessert perfect for the whole family’s breakfast.

To prepare it you will need a bowl and an electric mixer. The ingredients needed to prepare it are few. After preparing the batter, add the chocolate chips. If you prefer, you can use chopped or chunked chocolate. You can use the chocolate you like the most: white, dark, or milk. Additionally, if you like, you can enrich it with nuts.

As mentioned, the cake is perfect for breakfast and snacks. You can enjoy it alone or with a layer of jam or Nutella. It’s also great dipped in milk.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seed oil
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Mixer
  • 1 Bundt Pan

How to Prepare Yogurt Cake with Chocolate Chips

  • In a bowl, add the eggs and sugar. Mix with the electric mixer until obtaining a fluffy and frothy mixture.

  • Add the yogurt and oil. Mix with the electric mixer.

  • Add the flour and baking powder. Mix with the electric mixer, being careful not to create lumps.

  • Finally, add the chocolate chips. Mix. (I used a mix of dark and white chocolate chips).

  • Pour the obtained mixture into a previously buttered and floured 9.5-inch bundt pan. My pan doesn’t need to be buttered or floured. If you want to take a look, you can find it here.

  • Bake in a preheated, static oven at 350°F. Let it cook for about 40 minutes. Remember to always do the toothpick test.

  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

  • Serve yourself.
