  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 container plain yogurt
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baker's ammonia
  • 2 tbsps milk

How to Make Yogurt Cookies with Chocolate Chips

  • In a bowl, place the egg, sugar, and yogurt. Mix with a hand whisk.

  • Gradually add the flour (you might use less), the chocolate chips, and the ammonia dissolved in two tablespoons of milk. Mix all the ingredients by hand until you get a soft and slightly sticky dough.

  • Take small pieces of dough and form balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • If you like, brush with milk and sprinkle with granulated sugar before baking.

  • Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F (180°C) and let them cook for about 15/20 minutes. Please check the baking times based on your oven.

  • Remove from the oven, let them cool slightly, and serve yourself.

  • How can I replace baker’s ammonia?

    You can use a packet of baking powder, but the cookies will be less crumbly.
