Yogurt Rolls. The yogurt rolls are no-yeast sweets, simple and quick to prepare.

The yogurt rolls are perfect for breakfast and snack time. They are egg-free and butter-free. To make them even more delicious, I added chocolate chips to the dough, but you can choose to omit them.

The dough is made with simple and genuine ingredients that we usually have at home. You can enjoy them plain or filled with Nutella or jam.

Now, let’s see how to prepare the yogurt rolls.

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Hand whisk
  • 1 Rolling pin

  • 1 Knife

How to prepare the yogurt rolls

  • In a bowl, combine the yogurt and oil. Mix with a hand whisk.

  • Add the sugar and mix.

  • Add the flour, baking powder, and chocolate chips. Knead by hand until you get a homogeneous and non-sticky dough. If necessary, add more flour.

  • Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a lightly floured surface. You should get a rectangle about 8 inches by 12, with a thickness of about 1/4 inch.

  • Cut the rectangle along the longer side into strips about 1/2 inch thick.

  • Roll each strip to form rolls.

  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Space them slightly apart.

  • Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F and cook for about 12/15 minutes. Please check the cooking times based on your oven.

  • Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and if desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

  • Feel free to help yourself.
