Apple Cake with Batter Made in the Baking Pan

Apple-based cakes are those I love and make most often, and this time I wanted to try making one using as few tools as possible so I don’t end up with a sink full of dishes. To prepare the Apple Cake with Batter Made in the Baking Pan, I used only the baking pan with parchment paper, a whisk, and a spatula. Regarding the ingredients, I chose a delicious whole wheat flour, bought loose from my trusted bakery, almond flour, brown sugar, eggs, oil, milk, and more, working the batter very little directly in the baking pan with parchment paper inside, baked and cooked. Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 1/2 tbsp corn oil
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 g lemon zest (grated)
  • 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • 2 Golden apples

Steps

Set the oven to static mode at 350°F

Prepare the apples into cubes

Keep the scale nearby to weigh the ingredients directly into the pan

  • Line the baking pan with parchment paper, crack the eggs in, add 80 grams of sugar and gently mix with the whisk. While continuing to mix, pour in the oil, milk, and vanilla extract.

  • Add the grated lemon zest, salt, and gradually the mixed flours with the baking powder. Add the apple cubes and mix them into the batter using the spatula. Sprinkle the top with the remaining 20 grams of sugar. Bake in the middle of the oven and cook for 50 minutes at 350°F. Leave for 5 minutes in the oven with the door open and then take it out. Once cooled, open the mold and carefully remove the parchment paper.

    If the mold is non-stick, you can try, but I prefer to use it to remove the cake from the mold without breaking it.

    Instead of 50 ml of oil, you can use 60-70 grams of butter
