When serving chicken, the first thing people ask for are the drumsticks! But alas, there are only two, so who gets the breast and wings? That’s why I decided to buy only drumsticks and make everyone happy. The recipe is classic, simple Chicken Drumsticks with Peppers in a Pan. A good cooking technique and the addition of peppers give this dish a delicious flavor.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken drumsticks
- 3 peppers (yellow and red)
- 1 cup cups piccadilly tomatoes
- 1 shallot
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- 5 leaves sage
- 1/2 clove garlic
- 2 leaves bay leaf
- 1/2 cup cups dry white wine
- 2 tbsps tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp tsp fine salt
Tools
- Pan
- Wooden Spoon
- Cutting Board
- Kitchen Scale
Steps
Wash the drumsticks, dry them well, and remove any remaining feathers. If desired, pass them over the flame for a few seconds. In a pan, pour the oil, rosemary, and chopped garlic along with the sage leaves. As soon as it starts to sizzle, add the chicken drumsticks, browning them on all sides over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Once nicely colored, deglaze with white wine, let it evaporate, and add the shallot cut into wedges.
Continue by adding the tomatoes cut into quarters and the peppers cut into strips. Salt, lower the heat, and cover with a lid. Halfway through cooking, about 20 minutes later, stir and flip the drumsticks. Continue cooking for another 20 minutes. When they seem cooked to you, raise the heat and let the sauce dry. Serve the Chicken Drumsticks with Peppers hot.
